Luke Kingham brings five generations of construction expertise to his role as Principal in Charge of KDW’s Central Texas office. Raised in East Texas within a family construction legacy, Luke developed his passion for the built environment from childhood, spending formative years on job sites and in project meetings that would shape his career-defining commitment to craftsmanship and quality.

After completing formal studies in construction and design, Luke expanded his expertise through hands-on field experience, mastering the intersection of technical precision, project delivery, and client relationships. His approach combines generational wisdom with innovative methodologies, ensuring each project reflects both timeless craftsmanship and contemporary excellence.

As Principal in Charge, Luke leads KDW’s multidisciplinary Central Texas team, including architects, designers, project managers, and field personnel. His collaborative leadership style emphasizes direct engagement with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to deliver projects characterized by clarity, efficiency, and enduring quality. Luke’s portfolio spans complex commercial, industrial, and institutional builds where his focus on precision and relationship-building consistently drives successful outcomes.

Luke’s leadership philosophy extends beyond project delivery to team development, mentoring the next generation of construction professionals while upholding the industry standards that have defined his family’s legacy. His commitment to continuous improvement and innovation positions both his team and clients for long-term success. Luke and the KDW Central Texas office are involved with the Real Estate Council of Austin, Opportunity Austin, the Hays/Caldwell Economic Partnership, and NAIOP – Austin Chapter, and also actively support the Austin Regional Manufacturing Association.

Based in Austin with his wife, Anna, and two young sons, Luke continues expanding the Kingham family’s construction legacy throughout Texas and beyond, building not only exceptional structures but also lasting relationships founded on trust, stewardship, and measurable impact.

Outside of the office, Luke and Anna support the Elizabeth Ann Seton Board, of which Anna is a board member, and are active members of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. Luke enjoys golfing, hunting, and fishing with friends, family, and his two young sons.
