The project involved expanding an existing business with the new build of a 4,332 SF Fixed Base Operator (FBO) and the renovation of a 24,000 SF hangar originally built in the 1940s, including new exterior sheathing, an epoxy floor, and huge fans. It also included concrete ramp renovation and parking lot renovation. This expansion, completed through a public/private partnership with the San Angelo Economic Development Corp, aims to attract new opportunities, including the San Angelo Aviation school, and provides a new midway point for smaller air traffic refueling between the coasts.
