A graduate of Texas Tech University, Jay’s path into construction was driven by a passion for operations, logistics, and leadership. Over the years, he has worn many hard hats — from laborer, carpenter, and superintendent to project manager, estimator, construction manager, and now president. That full-spectrum experience gives Jay a unique perspective and unmatched insight into what makes a project successful at every level.

For more than 20 years at KDW, Jay has overseen the full life cycle of multimillion-dollar projects across a wide range of industries. He’s known for his steady, solutions-oriented leadership style and his ability to build lasting partnerships with clients and subcontractors alike.
