About:
Rolf Scheffler graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Science. Before being promoted to KDW’s Chief Operating Officer on January 1, 2024, Rolf was responsible for the day-to-day operations of KDW’s Special Projects Division which included sales, estimating, subcontractor / owner contract negotiations, project management and design coordination. Under Rolf’s leadership, the Special Projects Division successfully completed more than five hundred projects including renovations, expansions, new construction, and facility maintenance services.
Rolf currently leads various strategic initiatives for KDW including, business development, risk management, quality control, operations, and company culture. He is also involved in numerous real estate developments including, RV Parks, land investments, retail centers, class A industrial and multi-family complexes. Rolf actively participates in the Texas A&M Construction Industry Advisory Council on various topics including, curriculum, budget / development, and membership.
Rolf has been a volunteer at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for 18 years where he currently serves as Vice Chairman on the Equipment Acquisition Committee. In addition, Rolf is currently serving on the building committee at Foundry United Methodist Church.
Rolf was born and raised in Houston, TX where he resides with his wife, Katie and their children, Tyler, and Hailey. Outside of work, Rolf enjoys spending time with the family hunting, fishing, and ranching.
